    Default Talquin Slabfest 1-1-10 reservations

Those of you who are planning on attending the GA, AL and FL New Years day slabfest should consider making you motel reservation early. This is a busy time and rooms may be hard to come by.

This will be a great slabfest for all. Good for the family and those who want to compete.

    See you there.

Are the motels on the lake or close by the lake?
I don't see as much being posted about Talquin this year as was posted last year. Is it still producing?

The motels are at I10 and about 5-6 miles from fish camps. The fish camps have motel rooms.

    Lake Talquin Lodge
    Whipporwill
    Ingrams

Do a search "Lake Talquin" and the info will come up. I am at LTL and as of last week, Rusty still had some rooms available. He is at 850-627-3822.

Storm slowed things down. Should start picking up next week if this wind slows down. Looking forward to thanksgiving. There will be a bunch of us fishing that week. I will not be on the computer, but others will.

    See you a the slabfest.

The wife and I really enjoyed our trip to Talquin and the Slabfest last December. We hope to go back to Talquin this winter also. Unfortunately the Jan 1st date makes travel difficult due to holiday traffic and hotel prices at a premium. I wonder if Jamie is going to do a gig over at Imgram's this winter?

Ron Talquin when it is cold seems to be a good place for you. I remember we had coats on and you were in short sleeves. I think they set a record low last year when we were there. was it last year? I didn't fish with yall much but I really enjoyed those days we fished on West point

If everyone wants we can do a fish fry? or just go over to that fish house again. I hope to get there weds but I have to work the 2nd
