    Default Jigs For A Farm Pond

    I have some people that come by, wants to know , what color jigs works good in a farm pond. Any input will be appreicated.

    I've always killed em in farm ponds with black/chart. Only color I ever use in ponds.

    john deer green/ with orange head (never fails)
    I have caught bream, bass, catfish, and crappie from farm ponds with john deer.

    Bubble gum and white has done me some good and yes John Deer green and green hornet also has done well.

    Ok this may sound odd. But my favorite color is a pink, round head jig. With brown and bright orange tail tube. An old man told me about this years ago. He said it mimics a small craw. The other is a pumpkin seed tube on a black or unpainted head.
