Micro Spoons & trout
Here is an email I got today from a customer. Guess I need to go hit the river.
Hi Jessica, I just wanted to send ya an enthusiastic report from this morning's fishing. I took the microspoons over to a local trout stocked lake at around 630 am. It was just a bit over 30 degrees, but I had to do some quick fishing to be back by 9 and take my wife to work. The first cast with a bright microspoon & waxworm didn't move 2' when a dandy rainbow trout nailed it! After that inspiring start, it seemed like almost every cast had me getting bumps and taps -they were tricky ,but those sickle hooks you'd made my spoons with stung an awful lot of them! I actually lost count of the numbers, but near the end I got 4 trout in a row,and the bait fishermen around were none too happy with me! But if anyone asks, you can assure them for me that the microspoon is,indeed, a superb trout killer! Take care! John

here is another great report from up north
I originally bought microspoons at Causway Bait and Tackle at Mosquito Lake. I was using one under a bobber on a 3 wieght flyrod catching BG until a large bass took off with my spoon. I fought a good fight but can't turn the big guys with just a 2lbs tippit. Then go figure....no pinmin or popper would catch anything after I lost the microspoon. So I will now use my 5 wieght and throw confidently at'em with your spoons.
