monster carp anyone
Here is a couple of pics sent to me from a staff member. looked like fun fishing
Hi Jessica, I don't know if ya got the other pics that I forwarded, But I had this crazy idea since it was warm & overcast, that after my visit to the dentist this morning ,that I'd head over to the small lake nearby and try the microspoon for carp. Attached here is the microspoon in the mouth of a 20+ pounder! I tipped the jumbo sized microspoon with a single corn kernal, and had another line out just sitting still. They wanted the dropping wiggly microspoon only!! Also got a few panfish (of course!) but when I set the hook with these it was off to the races-long,long fight with 4# test line> I was using a special method that I'd developed a few years ago, and the microspoon had it working to perfection!! What was neat,on the second carp, the biggest, a dad and two young kids, boy& a girl aged about 5& 7, were nearby and I called them over to play the carp for about 10 minutes each; they were thrilled!! OK,take care, JOHN

how fun...and even more fun for those kids!!!! When my son was about 5 or 6 yrs. old, a guy fishing next to us on a pier hooked a big old carp and called him to help "reel him in"...he had a blast. I'll never forget how that man made my son's day more fun!
