:D Yep that GA Slab Masters/B'n'M shirt stands out don't it! She is one of a kind for sure. She is shooting a Remington Model 7 Youth wood stock with a recoil pad (not for recoil but to give and extra inch or so in length) 7mm/08 140 grain Winchester Supreme Ballistic Tips (black box/nickle casings). Thinking of changing over to the AccuBonds or something similar since the bullet just didn't do what it should have. She put it right where it is supposed to be and it just didn't do anything other than punch through the other side about the size of your pinky finger. I was sick thinking we wouldn't find that deer because of the lack of blood to track him by. Had to track him by kicked up dirt and hoof prints for the 1st 40 yards and only a drop of blood every few yards after that until we found him piled up like he should have been at the spot she shot him. I can't afford to see her loose a deer because of bullets I bought!!!! She did everything right.

My brother reloads his own shells. He made a believer out of me a couple of months ago. I shot some Hornaday factor shells and shot a 4" group at 150 yds. Then he gave some of his reloads. Shot a 2" group with them. But to get to the point, up untill 2 weeks ago he was using ballistic tips. He shot a 10 pointer with his snipper rifle and the deer ran off. He found lots of urine and feces and just a couple of drops of blood. Never found the deer. The next day he shot a doe... Same thing, but he found this one. The bullet penetrated and exploded but didn't exit. He had to use his dog to track this one down. Now he says he'll never use ballistic tips again. It wasn't from lack of powder either. He loaded them hot.
!By the way, Heck of deer you got there... Both of em!
To heck with work, lets go fishing.
