    Default Tybee Island quickie

I'm headed to Tybee this weekend for a family event on Saturday night. I won't be there long enough to drag my boat down from Kennesaw, but would like to bring my surf rods along in case I can sneak out to the beach on Saturday evening or Sunday AM before we head back.

I'm aware of the Jetties near the lighthouse. Can anyone make a suggestion where I might try for a couple of hours before the crowds arrive.

Or would I be better off just hitting the piers?

    Thanks
    Gary

Everyone needs to believe in something. I believe I'll go fishing!

Please be careful if you get in the water as the undertow is bad at times on tybee. Good luck and have a safe trip.
