Hope you guys are holding onto something sturdy. The way the radar looks you may need your boats to get around.
I hope everyone makes it through this without any problems. Keep us posted on what is going on down there.

One of my buddies was coming back from Talquin today. Said between Quincy, FL and Albany, GA he saw many tress down and fields had water gushing out of them. They lost power at the lake lFriday night and was still off at noon Saturday. I hear that Tallahassee has had 20"+ of rain. We had 3.2" today and had a few showers tonight. I sure wished Atlanta and Lake Lanier could have got some of this!!

Went to Ashburn this evening and they have had about 3+ but we haven't had but only an inch. Was looking at this map National Weather Service radar from Moody Air Force Base, GA and seen where the Tallahasee area got 15+! Maybe it will get some of the FL folks to stop wanting more water released?

Camilla...........as of yesterday around 5pm we had 8 3/4 inches here at my place, with a huge oak tree down just up the road, stretching all the way across the road....no one could get in or out to the hyway because of it.Rain has softened up the ground and the winds started blowing some trees over. Funny thing, we havent lost satilite and I wonder why? Dang dish network usually goes out even if a butterfly goes over

I know that Lake Talquin Lodge lost power Friday evening and it was still off at noon Saturday. I just tried to call down there and no answer. I know Rusty uses a cordless phone at his store and he also has an answering machine, both need electricity to work. I guess they are still in the dark!! I also heard that a worker from the power company was electrocuted while working on the power lines in that area Friday night. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
