Default Question WHY?????

Does anyone have an answer to why their still dragging water out of Lanier???
I made a trip to Panama City last week and WF George is running out of it's banks!!! I assume Seminole is the same way. All this before Fay!! Lanier has dropped about 4' in the last month or two.
And I still hear people in Fla. screaming about the water in Lanier. I dont understand at all.
And if you tell me it's for power generation I know that's BS because those tiny hydro's in Buford Damn would'nt make a pimple on an elephants butt, compared to the fossils and nukes we have in GA. If they were shut down, the grid would'nt be effected AT ALL!!!!

Well, I'm done venting, thanks for reading.

I don't think Fl will be hollering about water for a little while after this weekend.

Default water

the problem now is even if they quit drawing water there is hardly any coming in from the mountians. The chestatee river up above my house at the end of hwy 400 looks like a creek instead of a river. It is very sad.
