Default Well Hello

Since I am new to the forum "branch minnow" who is my neighbor suggested I introduce myself. I live in Homer and write the local hunting and fishing column for the weekly Banks County News. Semi-retired , raised in Florida in Tampa, moved to Jacksonville area and wrote a similar column for the Bradford Telegraph out of Starke Fla. Do a lot of trout fishing in the Soque river, just bought a used 16' tracker jon boat with a 40 hp . Plan to fish at Lake Burton a lot. I found this forum through a mention on Woodys. If you have a good story to share about your outdoors, and particulary if you live in North Ga area give me a call at 706-677-1520. Look forward to hearing from you. I also write some booklets with true hunting and fishing stories from Fla and Ga. I always included the " good new" the gospel.

Welcome ssmith! I think you will find this forum very informative as to what is hot and what is not. I have learned alot from reading these forums and interacting with a great bunch of fellow fishermen. ENJOY!!!!
