Default Fay might help water levels on N.Ga lakes for yall.

I sure hope if we have to deal with a tropical system that it helps the lake levels on the corps lakes.

I think I'll be sure to hit the lake before it gets here..if it gets here..This is a great time to fish. Catching a limit in dog days is tough most of the time. Makes you work harder at it. I know 15 years ago I couldn't catch "A" crappie this time of year with the sun shining. Now I can most of the time, er...sometime..lol fishing at night, well you all know, is best right now.

Every bit helps, but I think it'll take a LOOOONNNNGGG steady rain to get lake levels like they used to be. Or some help from someone above.

if a TS slows down and stalls over n. ga it could cause flooding. Adding that amout of rain could really help the level rise. Not fill em up but help them. It would not be impossible for it to stall over Lanier and its drainage area. Put 10" of rain up there over a widespread area..That will help if they don't let most of it go to prevent a flood..

Yep, I'm keeping track of Fay myself. I hope it sits over lanier for a few days, it's better than nothing at all. We need all the help we can get on Lanier.

The State of Florida will probably challenge us for the water we get and we will have to drain the lakes back down to give them their fair share.
