Default Allatoona ?

Ok guys I've been remodeling my kitchen and bathroom for at least a month now (feels more like 6 ) so I've not been able to fish at all and with deer coming soon I'm feeling the need to drown a minner or two, plus my wife told me I need to go fishing or hang deer stands or something just get the HE%& out of her way its funny how that works. So I'm just wondering if theres any fish left in Toona and if anyone is catching anything, is the night time bite still pretty good ? I'm gonna try to go this weekend I might even try to go for a few hours tomorrow evening. any info would be greatly appreciated.

Default catching 8/8/08

Went Sat. and fish were in 18-20 Ft. fish 16-18 ft. with eagle claw hooks and split shot around any brush that you know of. I keep 15 fish 3/4 to 1 1/4 Lb. two of the fish went in 1 1/4 range made a good mess for the fish fry we have after church Sun.

I graphed a huge amount of fish in Kellog Creek this past Tuesday so I'm taking my brother for a night stalk tonight to see if they are still there and to try and start working on filling up my freezer full of crappie. Wishfull thinking for this time of year I know but it has to start getting good sometime in the near future. Hopefully I'll have some pics to share. I can't wait for that really good night of fishing to start off the later part of this year.

Well I just got in from toona and we caught probably 50 fish but only kept 15 which were 1 to 1 1/2 lb range. I'll post a pic tomorrow but I'm headed to bed rite now.

Dang! I went to toona last night around the Kellogg creek bridge and only caught 5 and kept 2. What is your secret? maybe I need to be fishing in deeper water by the dam. Where abouts were you fishing? Were you 1 of the boats under that bridge for awhile last night? Maybe the aluminum boat with the standing top lights. If so I was in the white & red Ozark with no top lights, just one light in the water.

My wife & I are going fishing on Lanier tonight. Maybe I'll have better luck in deeper water like you did at toona.
