Default rv

I know several of you have an rv or motor home so I have a question. Have any of you ever used a point of connection hot water heater in it. I want to do away with the travel trailer hot water heater (gas) and go electric. I have in the past used a 10 gal hot water heater but am looking at these tankless models and wonder if they would work for the whole trailer?? I know your suppose to have one at each point of use but why not for the whole unit....it isnt like a house.

my fifth wheel rv has an electric / gas hot water heater, so that you can use either or both at the same time. when I am somewhere that I have electric I only use the electric unless there is several of us taking showers back to back, sometimes there is like 5 of us to shower.
