Default Lake Level at Harding

Don't attempt it from the Georgia side, the lake is 8 ft. below full pool. This photo is the end of the launch at Idle Hour, near Blanton Creek park.

Wow, I'm looking at Lake Eufaula right now, it's full pool and beautiful weather.

Why is Lake Harding down? I thought Ga Power kept it relatively full (constant) most of the time.

Keep working on those pictures. all I get is black.

yep you can launch here in bama but it is tricky. Drawdown for repairs..
One of my spawning pockets with tall blowdowns..used a backhoe and a small cat to clean it all up. made my heart sink..Guess that will be a good place for a Mat type condo That is what I mean by destroyed habitat. I hope Slabfest.org Habitat project grows. We need to help our lakes by putting back cover that has rotted or been removed.

The past 3 weeks I have been spicing up some great spots for guide trips on harding. Not many boats on the lake to spy on me. trouble was all the workers from the shoreline watching me at times. I have also found some great places that are natural with the level this low. The fishing is hot for crappie. I fished maybe 30 minutes this afternoon and had 8_ 10 inch+ keepers. I only went to drop some boo but I ain't launchin without fishin..
check out these videos of the drawdown day.
