Off hwy 39, about 10 miles north of Georgetown, Ga and about 7 miles south of Florence landing... there is a little creek that feeds into Lake George\a.k.a. Lake Eufala. It's called Ruud Creek.
Best area of Lake Eufala I've ever fished.
I have fished Barbour creek on the Alabama side... all of the creeks and area's on the Georgia side and even behind the damn.
By far, I love Ruud Creek the best.
After you put in at Ruud creek... go west on the water for about 1/2 mile. This will lead you to the main river. Once on the channel... go about 1/2 mile north. You will find several very large coves on your right. Watch out for gators, and enjoy the catch.
By far the best area I've ever fished on that lake.
SHHHHH it is a well kept secret.
