What???? You live in Chewela, nearly the Phesant hunting capical of the world and dont collect Phesants off the Road?

When I used to hunt up near Twisp, we'd collect all the Road kills we saw just for that purpose. To sell to the guys who wont stop for Road kills!:D
I just wish I could be better at fishing. Or maybe luckier!:D

You know, those might actually work for crappie. Use them with a split shot about 24 inches above them and throw them out and let them slowly sink to the bottom. If you can find the right shot they should sink really slow and should trigger some bites from the shape and colors. And lift of the shot or tweak of the line they are gonna move around rather nicely.
I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.
