IMHO, it has potential, but like many "hopefuls", it may not produce to your expectations. Catch something with it, then name it accordingly, but catch something with it first.

    Thumbs up Neat fly

Good advise sneakypeat! Meanwhile, would you mind sharing the body material? I'm very much a fan of different ideas.
I have used tiny sparkle jigs in 1/124th and 1/80th oz. nickle heads for deep summer gills and they can be deadly. I used Char.,white, pink and olive. This body shape would fit rigght in with the more favorable true fly hook. Thanks for sharing. Illinoisgiller

Red Worm Terror. I am gonna have to get my fly rods out when spring comes and give it a try for crappie and panfish. Haven't caught anything else with them so why not.
I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.

If you don't mind me asking, do you have a materials list?

    Tail-orange crystal flash
    Body-orange edgebrite
    Collar-red/orange mohair
I tie these on a size 8 with an 1/8" brass bead

You can really light these up with a layer of silver foil under the edgebrite
