Default Rockefeller Redfish

Been having some rather outstanding fly fishing action with reds in the canals in southwestern Louisiana's Rockefeller Wildlife Refuge. Dead-ends are best, with the fish holding to irregularities in the shorelines. Size 2 and 1 Clouser-type flies in either solid purple or gold, worked on slow-sinking or sinking-tip lines, counted down ten seconds or so, and slow-striped are the pattern. Good fish, too - buddy got a 29-incher Sunday. Too big to keep, but we did box seven of the 20 that we caught that day.
