Thanks for the opportunity. When you snoose you loose. Orvis has a deal going on . Mid arbor for $129.00 with spare spool. I couldnt pass that up but it put me a rod short. I have a crappie fest the 3rd may. After this I am going to get serious withe Flyrod.

I'm not great at catching crappie on fly rod, but I love to catch them. They're very strong and fun. I can do it when they're spawning and in the shallows, but locating them afterwards is tough.

Go to the state crappie BD. Falcon smittie has a post that is good reading on post spawn crappie. I want to target gills and crackers in the next week with the Fly and bugs. I will target the crappie later. I need to master the sinking line first. This too will happen!! Sorry that I missed out on the rod. I am sure the new owner will enjoy.
