Thread: New bug

Well for me anyway ! Added chain bead "eyes" to my foam bug , going to fish it as a "dropper" I think.......... was told more fish caught with wet flies than dry ,,,,, we`ll see

Nice Pat! Those should be killers.

Dang I'd like to have a hand full of those before they outlaw it,sure looks like a killer dropper.Even the color of its legs makes it so real you'd want to spray insect repellent on it to kill it.

Looks like a great bait.Might have to try to copy that one on a 1/64 oz. jighead for gills here in Arizona.

Body is 2mm foam from Wally world , legs are skirts for a Ba$$ lure I think, found pack of 4 @local tacle shop............ The legs are somewhat "fragile" ,
tied some this AM with bungee cord legs , much tougher IMO better.
Will post a pic later. post a pic of your tie on the jig........... I`d like to see it

Will do.I'm gathering up stuff as we speak,lol.I think that I will have red legs though.lol.Just got the heads painted.Let's see what I can come up with.

Bungee legs

Could'nt make the wings.Not enough room there for me.lol.It's a 1/64 but,no wings.Black chenille,black legs,black head,Buggy though.Hats are off to you fly guys.Size 10 sickle,I do need a fly rod to fish it though,lol.Pic just to let you that I tried.

your idea............... looks like it might be "weedless" , wings split for the hook.......
