Default New 2wt fish pics

I recently got a new 2wt built by Pearow (Gene Bethea) and she is very sweet. 5' long and weighs in at 1.2 ounces. I took her out Wednesday and here are some of the results.

I was using a tiny streamer made with EP fibre on a #10 jig hook and small beadchain eyes.

How do you contact the rod maker? I have been looking for a 2 weight. How does a 5ft rod cast? What type/brand line are you using?

Thanks!

Bass Pro sells some 5-6' rods:

White River Fly Shop Classic Ultralight Fly Rods

Dorber's "li'l streamer" rods are another option:

If you search the archives at FAOL, you'll find lots of posts about the "li'l streamer" rods.

I like longer rods myself. Unless you're fishing in very tight quarters, longer rods do everything better, IMO. Some people really like them, though, guys like Lee Wulff and Ed Shenk.

It casts great. Took a little practice to get my timing but once I did it's sweet. I'm using Orvis 2wf line.
