Ok what reel are you using? I think going with cortland line and dennison reel.

The Lil Whip, the Dennison fly reel, and the Cortland 444 clear creek olive WF2 wt are all here and itching to battle some gills. Little bit dark out now but tomorrow we will blast to the goat pond after work.

I'm building myself a 4/5 wgt..for my Wyoming trip...but a 2wgt ??..That's got to be sweet !!...

I listened to the 5 wt for everything line for years. Got a 3 weight Sage loved it.
Sorry that the fly season is winding down quick here now. The 2wt won't see much action till spring I think. But if chicks dig it I might fish with it more.

Good luck with the project. I need to take that hobby up.

2wt's are sweet. I have everything from a 2 to an 8 so I'm covered for all types of fishing.
