Thread: Dead Lake

Planning to go to Dead Lake Monday and Tuesday. How has the fihing been the last few days and how will this full moon affect the fishing? Any information will be appreciated.

Sorry Tom plans changed at the last minute, planning to go next Monday and Tuesday. Let us know how you do Tomorrow. It has been about 30 years since I have been there.

I plan on going tomorrow, dont know if Im putting in there or Crescent City ramp though. I will post results when I get back

duckkiller let us know how you do, this will be my first trip there in about 30 years and I don't have a clue as to where the fish have been biting. I plan to be there late Monday and Tuesday and Wednesday.

Hey Duckkiller. We fished there yesterday morning. All the fish I saw, including the double handfull we caught were undersized. Hope you can change it around.

We fished from 3:00 pm till abou 6:30 Monday and caught a lot of fish but only kept 5 we fished Tuesday all day and kept 10 we fished Wednesday till about 2:30 and kept 3. It was tough to find keeper sized fish, but also I am not familiar with this lake and we were trolling for the first time, sure would have liked to caught some of those big slabs I have been hearing about. Maybe one day.
