Default Fishing Stick Marsh on 3/7

Might drive down from Orlando on the 7th and try and get some of those big slabs down there. The last I heard they were biting on the North side of Farm 13. I have fished the lake once a couple years ago and I have a good map but do any of the local fellows down there have any updates. I guess I will see if Jim Porter has any news on his site? Thanks

I can't find them. I fished Friday, caught six and kept 5. Me and my partner fished Saturday, caught 12 and kept 6. No monsters. I can catch them on the pond 11 months of the year, but they beat me up bad during spawning. This is supposed to be the easy time, but not for me. I have fished from the north end of the Stick Marsh to the south end (two feet of water) of the pond. All points in between, east to west. They elude me. If you go on the 7th, I would start on the pond, south of the East/West ditch. I would concentrate on 5/6 feet of water. If that doesn't work, possibly move even further south.
