What day you looking to fish? I live in Lakeland and fish all over. I am not a guide but do accept assistance with gas,bait, etc..

im out of tampa and your best bet is to wake up early and head east in towards the chains. the only place in tampa is to fish medard and that is overfished.

i live in seminole and i go to tarpon lake near tarpon springs. i troll and long line troll. just learning the latter. have caught a few real nice[13 inch] but it is slow. one guy talked of getting 37 but also said there were 24 inch fish in it. ha! don' know what he was smoking.

I wanna see that 24 incher !! Or, I want some of the stuff that makes you think they are that big.... I have caught some good specs in Tarpon, but they are not numerous. I haven't been there for some time and can't attest to the productivity currently.
