Kissimmee river bed
friend and I went out on his pontoon, cranked up the generator and halogens and fished between brahma & bird in the deep.Came home at 2am with 34,havent cleaned them yet so dont know the situation with egg development.Forgot to even look at the water temp, they were hugging the bottom.Matter of fact my friend uses rods and reels, lets the sinker hit bottom and cranks it up 3-4 turns

Nice trip. Need to do some night fishing out there while the bugs arent so bad.
Florida you planning on jigging them heavy after they move in? I would love to get some practical training on that. Up til this year I was a minnow drifter.

another guy I know who jigs is telling me that he has struck out on jigs but has started to catch them in the grass/pads on minnows. I didnt see it but he says he caught one
13 1/2 ". I flat hate minnows except for night fishing or when the wife is with me. Thats why the lights are on swing out poles, helps keep the bugs away...that and a box fan when they get real bad
