    Smile Full...filment

Fished the Full moon phase on the St. John's at Sanford yesterday and found some willing prisoners/volunteers for the Crisco Fry-festival. Fish were available for the interview after falling victim to the long-lining, casting and float-fishing modes of pursuit. 16 specimens up to 1 lb. 14 ozs. were secured and brought home for the scenic tour through Central Fla. Will try to send pix!!?

Looks like my 398 kb is way too big-how do you downsize to 148 kb??...catch smaller fish??

For the pix...Go to Post your Pix from cell phone Forum...sorry!!

Glad to hear a Lake Monroe report. Was planning on going today but something came up. Got to make a short trip to Georgia and will be on Lake Monroe Thursday morning. I plan to start at the holes right off the sea wall at Fort Melon park an then turn north toward Stone Island. If that doesn't work there's plenty more water to try. Thanks again for the report.

I hope it's not me...I hope the bite is slow! We went this morning (thursday) and caught one 8 3/4 oz fish in Lake Monroe. Pitiful...Pitiful...Pitiful...Pitiful... We trolled the channel and the shoreline in front of the zoo and then we went back into the dugout and that's where we caught Mr. Pitiful. At the dock a fellow had 6 (small) on minnows. Going again Monday.

Speckanator- I think I know where the dugout is...I have been fishing in the river. Bite should be RED HOT with this beautiful weather. Goin' to Harris for the pre-fish startin' tomorrow. Good luck.:D

Fished Lake Monroe today (Friday the 13th!). Caught a little one right off the marina. Went over to Stone Island and fished off the island and then moved in close to the shore. Trolled a while and used bobbers for a while. Caught another little one on bobbers close in and lost one. Then went home.
Weather was great - little to no wind and lots of not to hot sunshine.
Going to Lake Harris on Wednesday the 18th for a little pre-fishing for the slabfest.
