I might, depends on if Im back in the state or not. PRob will end up saving my $$$ and fishing the Ga Slabmaster trail a couple times, b/c Im going to join thier club next year. I wish we had something like these boys in Fl, check out the website. This is the most popular trail in MS and I have several friends who fish it.

Its Foolish and wrong to morn the men who died, instead we should thank God that such men lived.

I don't mean to sound snappy here, but what makes you think our club is not as good as that one? We don't have a web site, but we also don't charge a membership fee. We have some of the most competitive tourneys in the country. And certainly some of the best anglers. Don't knock it if you ain't tried it
NEVER SAID YOURS WASNT I would like to try yours one day but when you have never heard much about it, its hard to find out any info about it. The only thing I have heard about your club is on this site and its all been good but I would like to join a club that fishes at least 1 tourny a month around diff parts of the state.
I was simply stateing that if I was in town I would like to fish w/ you all and that I was hoping to find a club in Fl/Ga like the one here at home in Ms. Sorry you read it differently

Is there a differance in this tourney and slab fests?
yes, The Florida Crappie Association is a group started years ago to fish in a competitive form on a regular basis, i believe it started at the old 'Bait Shack' in Leesburg, most also fish in Sandy's tourneys(Tavares bait shop) the first sat. of each month. Slab fests are a take off from the Crappie.com Georgia forum and the fun and fellowship they have in Georgia. No money involved other than the cost of going, catching and cooking speckled perch(aka crappies) all the groups have a good time and are friendly, try them you'll like 'em.--shu
