Thread: new to crescent lake

fishing crescent lake later this week for crappie for the first time. would appreciate any help about jig color , location. going to be longlining jigs and coming out of crescent lake resort in crescent city.

From where you are launching, the area north of Bear Island sees a lot of traffic. look for the boats concentrated north of the Island.

I have not been to Crescent in the last two weeks, but we were doing OK with white and two-toned white/chartreuse and any jigs with hot pink on them.

I just read a little about Lkae Crescent and was curious to see how you made out on your trip. I heading to Lake Talquin around the 15th but thinking about stopping at Crescent for a few days on my way back to VA.
