Default Highlands Park Fish Camp, May 4-6

Got a decent group of folks heading over there for next weekend. Going to do a crawfish boil Friday evening and a fish fry Saturday evening.

I'll be in my minitoon, the "Knotty Hooker." Lonehunter will be running around in his Lund, and we'll have a half dozen or so other boats out and about.

If any of ya'll are around, swing out for a bite to eat either evening or holler at us on the water!

Nice, enjoy your time & hope ya'll catch lots. That place is a great place to stay & fishing in that area is good "old Florida at it's finest".

First time I ever found that place I really enjoyed the seclusion & beauty of the untouched river environment. The same family has owned it for years

and they're great people to deal with.
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"

It's still pretty steep but there are a couple places to tie up.

We did a trip about the same time last year with a decent sized group when the water was low and we all managed to hack just fine.

So far, just me and lonehunter!

Would be great if a couple of ya'll showed up.

Our groups has all of the cabins booked and a decent chunk of the campsites, I think we'll be cooking out in "The Hammock" area.

I can't promise as I have to work next Saturday but thanks for the invite just the same. It would be good to rub elbows with some good folks. Should I get over there, I'll be wearing the Crappie.com shirt and hat. Hope to see you.
