How is the bite, shouldn't have to go far to catch fish right now, especially when the new moon hits in little over a week from now

Glad you got it figured out, now it's time to fish. Are you here for a visit or long term?

Skeetbum Here until the end of the month and will be going back and forth to see the grandkids north of Jacksonville. Here are a few pics of the twins fishing (no luck fishing but first time for them in a boat and fishing as well)as we had them for a few days and will have the oldest and youngest next week. The water temperature was in the low 70's before the last round of rain so I hope to be out as much as we can the six days. If you see a blue Ohio tracker proteam 175tf say hi and turn me in the right direction as 37 yrs with UPS I'm good with directions on land water is another story.

Water temp in the low 70's and starting to clear up here just north of little lake George. A few have been caught on crickets and minnows , will be at it again later today(4-11) and in the morning. Good luck to all !!

Water temp low to mid 70's, early morning to late in afternoon before sunset seems to work under green brush/trees hanging over water. Those using live bate have done a lot better than me using Kietech and beetle spin so after the storms Sunday I'LL be putting live bate for the grandkids this next week.

Motor now runs 6,000rpmwide open n trimmed out with the two of us. Will be posting water temps and hopefully fish counts in a few days after we see grandkids .
Here is what happens when you have fuel cap issues, just happy I was able to run as much as we did with the family and friends . Got back to Ohio and couldn't even get on plane as the motor started to shut down. New pump on order as no marina has one in stock in a 80mile area, hope to be back up and running by next Wednesday.
