Actually, Edgewater boats are made in Edgewater.
The man who started that company had been a Boston Whaler employee.
Edgewater is a very nice, also very pricey boat.
I believe Boston Whaler is also made in Florida, but not sure exactly where.
    Maybe Edgewater?

Yep, Boston Whaler is made in Edgewater. In fact the state caused them great stress. Soon after plant was complete a gigantic manatee zone appeared on the ICW and they are smack dab in the middle of it. Petitioned the state for exepmtions when testing new designs, nope not going to happen. They were pretty upset for a time and even threatened closing operations and moving to Texas, but I guess they realized to great an expense to move again. Great sheepshead hole along their weir and docks.

Yep, also, Huntingslabs, that cut across by "Three Sisters" is called "Government Cut" .....

Anyway, Ginny and Terry say their new house is just north of Boston Whaler, on a canal etc, etc, etc ......

Does anybody dock shoot for the Sheepshead?
Seems to me that might be worth trying.
Problem might be getting the bait to stay on.
For me that's a problem anyway with those things.

Most of the docks here are high enough to pitch under, if not I usually let the tide do the work for me. I would imagine trying to keep a shrimp or fiddler on after a shot would be mind numbing. Now I do skip bucktails and senko 's up way under them come summer when managing live bait becomes a task. Same with the mangroves, summer heat they get tucked further back in them and a nice skip is deadly. But better be rigged weedless and drag cranked down tight to get fish out quick or its all over in a blink. But thats getting away from sheepshead at that time.

I only got to fish for them after moving here from the Keys.
There aren't any down there that I'm aware of, at least where i lived.
I used sand fleas and shrimp here in the I/R, but especially the fleas, come off very easily.
Thought about cut squid strips, they stay on well and would hold up better on casting.
Actually considering that for catfish also, for sure they work on the salt water versions.
