    i will be visiting friends in lakeland fl from feb 15-18,dose any have any info for crappie with 30-40 miles of lakeland my friend has lived in polk county all his life so he where most of the lakes are popular lakes,he has a 17 ft boat...any assistance will be apperciated

    Hey Mike, been pretty quiet in our neck of the woods. I suggested the OP ask on this Florida section, hoping some of you guys in the know, can help him out.

    Johns Lake in Clermont or the Clermont Chain- Lake County, seen people fishing Lake Agnes in Polk County at night not sure how the bite is. Lake Mattie is good if you can get through the canal on lake Julinana (Spelling) both in Polk County

    Mattie not so much the last couple of years. Don't know why. If your boat has a high seat or windshield you might not get through the creek. There is a low pipe crossing over the creek on the west side of the road bridge. Matti has a private ramp at the north end of Cone Rd. $10.00 Lake Hollingsworth in Lakeland Proper has been good. There is some question about the water quality. Saddle creek Park is good at times, wish I knew which times. LOL Teneroc can be good, Fri Sat. Sun. Mon. only.

    Kissimmee is somewhat hot at present - fishing the grass lines pullin bobbers and/or up in the pads, single pole jiggin

    Night fishing on Kissimmee is good - Marker 8 & 7
