That's a beautiful sunrise, everyone different & amazingly unique, bonus to have some fish brought to the boat, cashing in, making up for lost time=all the same.....GOOD deal Tim !
Well, you all know how busy I've been in the past few months. The monkeys are falling off my back as one by one the details of the new house fall into place. This week has been a real recharge on my system. The holiday and the friends and OH....The food!!! But the most important factor of the entire time, from Thursday through today, has been the hallowed Kitchen Passes that I cashed in this week. Having fished Thursday and Saturday, I had reserved myself to the fact that I was in the wife's hands for the day. Imagine my surprise when she said "I'm going to church tomorrow and you can do as you like". I know I had a hard time trying not to stand there with my mouth hanging open. I don't have to tell you where I went. I called a friend that I haven't ever had in the boat and asked if he wanted to learn some of the finer points of long line trolling. He was at the house at 10 til 6, I like a man that knows how to be on time. Off we went to Monroe for the third day this week. (I must be doing something right) No fog like yesterday and a slight breeze today, but the water still very manageable. All good so far. All the rods out, an absolutely wonderful sunrise to paint the sky, and settle in to have a bite of breakfast before it was cold. No one told the fish we were there. The first hour only boated us 2 or 3 dink fish. Definitely not like yesterday. With a pass til noon I wasn't going anywhere except to different waters to look for better fish. And we found a few. 1 here and 3 there, we slowly worked on filling the counter. The boats were out in less force than yesterday and most were having a tough time. So without dragging it on, we moved from the starting area to others from days past and found enough to keep us busy and happy while we enjoyed each others company. End of the day was pretty near to noon, and I figured I better not push my luck with my good woman and get back home. Total on the counter was 21 and 13 good keepers in the box. All went home with Eddie to recharge his freezer. Enjoyed our day together and look forward to the next time our schedules and the planets align and we get another chance at them. Thanks for the visit yet again today, and I hope your day was good like mine was. Til next time.......Skeet

Skeet....I thought we saw you out there yesterday. Pretty sure you were setting up when we were coming out from Enterprise in the morning.
We did fairly well yesterday & caught 44, kept about 15. No monsters but some nice eatin sized fish.
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"skeetbum thanked you for this post
