Glad to see that Monroe is making it happen still ! Those are some nice looking fish.
Like Phantom earlier in the week, made a trip to Harney Friday with very dismal results, not a BITE all morning. Seen Specktaculure/Son & friend at Harney with similar results, pic below, good to talk again Bryan & thanks for the launch assistance. So, after that outing called Phantom & see if he want to catch the bite at Monroe today & we set up a meeting place to be on the water by 6:30. We got to the lake with dense fog in the air,& let me tell you, I never seen somebody so excited about fog, but then again I guess with a name like Phantom, it must be his element/calling ect....Never way-pointed the area that's been holding fish, to Phantom's grumblings=lecture J/K Dan, so followed the shoreline & it wasn't long before he pulled in the nice one in the fog photo, Ok game on, started picking 1 up here & there, but slowed once the fog lifted, so crossed the lake to another area that's been producing, scattered fish there also, however, the clicker still clipping away. Then Danny hauls in the biggest 1 of the morning, on yes, the Beetle spin, pic below. Around 11 the wind started to build & the switch went off on the bite. Seen Crappieday/son & ole Skeetbum OTW, good seeing ya guys out there & let me say Skeet the other woman was beaming in the sunshine when you past by, forgot to mention at the ramp, She's still easy on the eyes after all these years. Phantom's got more pics of scenery, etc...tight lines all. Sorry about pics don't know why they keep rotating after sent to attachments, never use to happen, what am I doing wrong, help please.

Yep....
Was a good morning, awesome fog ! !
Good to see Andy and Tim ....
Only got two pics of scenery.....
We got 18 nice ones, biggest was 13in, a few 12.5 & 12's and the rest 11in'rs
I got home and got busy cleaning em (Jeff give em all to me = saving up for end of year fish fry) ....
Appreciate the invite Jeff, really restored the spark in me, Harney killed me the other day, that made three
trips that I didn't get anything (two redfish trips before Harney)
I owe Jeff big time, him and me gonna make a trip into the Mosquito Lagoon and run those reds down,
if we don't catch any it won't be for not trying, from here to Bethune beach ....
Here's some more pics .....
Once again --> Tx's so much Jeff ! ! ! ! !

As you have already said Jeff, really good to see friends while doing what we love to do. This was a very good day for me, relaxing and busy at the same time. Like you guys, the rods went off early with some really good fish. My first fish was the big un of the day at 1 3/4 lbs. I had 27 on my fancy new fish counter compliments of Shu himself. I had 10 in the box and was throwing back keepers cuz I was lazy and didn't want to clean any more. Also like you guys, the switch was thrown about 11 and along with it came the wind. Here's a few pics of the day, and Danny wasn't the only one who was liking the fog.

I don't wish anyone any bad luck, it's a real chore getting the boat ready, all loaded up, and dragging it to the lake and launching/loading back up, getting home and unloading, washing it down etc, etc, etc ...
But, sure feels good that Jeff and Brian didn't catch anything at Harney either = that means it's not just me= whew, that's a load off my mind .....
I was in a downward spiral, thinking, to heck with this fishing thing, just don't work for me anymore etc, etc, etc .....
Was to the point that I'd rather sleep in and hang out at the house than go fishing and strike out.
Jeff must've seen my struggle and invited me out to get my motor going again, and it's purring right along now = Tx's my friend ! ! !
Is a real mystery why Harney is shut down and Monroe is hot.
I do know that I didn't see "ANY" other boats out on Harney fishing, but there were bout eight-ten trailers parked in the parking lot ....

Got so hung up with details of report & pic thing (think I got it figured out)...neglected to say what a pleasure it was to fish with you yesterday Danny=welcome in my boat anytime, was glad your side poles out fished mine, how it's suppose to be for the guest. Thanks Mike for the photo fix, believe my phone photo size to large & site is making them fit, use to get a warning to resize, should be the fix. Harney...WOW, was figuring I was going to have to do some searching & was met by 3-5 ft waves at entrance, but the west side was relatively fishable to no avail. There is still a lot of areas underwater & hope they are gorging in it & once a good cold spell comes they get frisky & the memo to the dance hall on the lake. Took a couple pics in deep creek to see the waterline & water still back into the woods, also the grass mats, ect...built up, the only good news about the lake=very clean trolling water.
