    Default 9/1 super hot

Met up with Crappieday as planned and Speckanator decided his cold symptoms needed to go fishing and he joined in as well. Fish we found Saturday had dissapeared along with the horriffic weedline they were on. River must be stabilizing and ready to start dropping. It was super hot and zero breze today. Found fish scattered and still have not found any schools of shad. My final count for the day was 7 caught and kept 5. Speckanator donated a nice 12.5" fish to the cause and cleaned a total of 6. Not sure Crappiedays final count or Mikes for that matter.Name: IMG_20140901_111140.jpg

Still a little early or NOT hot enough?....w/t 88...no breeze....water smooth as a babys butt. It was good to get out this morning and great to see huntinslabs, Sylvia and crappieday. I only managed to net 2 this morning. Started around mother's arm but too many floaters so I moved to the north shore. Beautiful morning but got hot fast!

Keep on them guys. I'll start coming down in a couple of weeks. Hopefully the mornings will start cooling down by then.

Excellant report and pictures to back it up............thanks for info.
Think a little about night fishing...................it sure beats getting sun burned
and burnt out- clears the head.
