Default Spring fishing is over for me

Well what I thought was a spun hub on my prop is actually a blown lower unit. Looks like my last month of school in Florida will be done without wetting a hook. I start my job in May so by mid summer I hope to have a new boat. Guess I'm going to be spending more time on here and looking at boats now. Good luck and please keep some pics coming so I can atleast see some Talquin slabs.

    Tight lines,

    Robert

Sorry to hear about your boat. You might check boattrader.com. I made a good deal on my carolina skiff. Just don't be in a hurry, a good deal will come along.

    Good luck on class.

Thanks chuck this is the first and last used boat I will ever buy. I had a lot of trouble out of this one from the start so I will be buying new this go round. Might be fall before I get one but I got dad and grandads boats back home in Mississippi I can use this summer

That's bad news on the boat duck, but sounds like you got a good plan to look forward to. Just got in from Dead Lake. Fished yesterday morning for one catfish, and the last 3 hours of daylight this afternoon for 3 dinks and a warmouth minnow. This is my first full season of crappie fishing and I've got nothing to brag about. Will prolly go 1-2 more times before re-rigging for saltwater.

Sorry about your boat. PM me when you want to go to Talquin. I'm usually looking for a partner.
