Wow what a day! Went to lochloosa and it was bad from the start. First off I woke up late, didn't leave lake city until 8am. Then I get to the lake and have to wait on ever slow person in the state to unload boats people when there is a 20 minute wait to launch go ahead and unstrap your boat while your waiting on the other 20 trucks, don't wait till u back down the ramp to rig poles and decide who is driving boat etc... The. Once I get in water I start out across lake, well half way across the lake I spun my hub! Managed to fish mid day and ended up catching some good fish so it wasn't a complete waste. Going to the shop tomorrow to get a new prop and get old one fixed and then I'm headed back, hope to be at lake by 10am.

I was snake bit as well, and I hear ya on folks being brain dead at that launch about now having their act together. Blocking a ramp while you're putting your gear in your boat prior to launch is thoughtless. Don't get me started on that.
My outboard was running rough so I motored out of the launch and turned south toward the lily pads where there were a bunch of boats. I fished in the pads for about a hour, maybe two, then cranked up to motor to another spot. My outboard really started running eratic so I head back to the ramp. I dropped my motor off and hope I get it back by mid-week. I didn't get a bite in the pads.
Did the wind ever die down much? It wasn't as bad as it has been but it was windier than I expected.
Not really, I caught all mine in the pads at the little lochloosa
