Would like some info on Lake Trafford. Good or bad. My winter home is close to the lake. And was wondering if it would be good crappie or bluegill fishing.
Ive caught alot of crappie out there last year about this time. They arent real big 9-11 havent been down there this year. When standing on the pier look off to the right across the lake there is a big white house we were in 2ft. of water a ft. deep dipping in the sticks with canepoles.

Lake Trafford used to be my home lake. I miss fishing there. It's an excellent crappie lake. It's also the best bluegill lake I've ever fished bar none. It has some hoss coppernose in it. Mind the gators in the canal at the marina, lots of fisherman clean their catch at the fish cleaning station there and throw the scraps to the gators, they've become very friendly. Or at least that was the case 5 years ago. Good luck and post a report.
Never tried the crappie there, but always can catch a mess of catfish.
