Went to Lake 5 this morning from about 10a-2p. We caught about 5 a piece but were struggling with trolling motor issues. We were using minnows up near the shore fishing about 1.5 to 2 feet deep. Most were the lighter colored small ones. 2-3 were larger dark colored. I caught one keeper size at 11.5 inches since they limit to 10 inches minimum. I believe we could've caught more had Dad focused on minnows instead of jigging to start and we didn't have trolling motor problems.
