Thread: fixin to walk out the door.

headin to sante fe. hope to catch a bunch, i have to go to lamaage or lamaaze, however you spell it, with my wife tomorrow, were havin our first baby, so wont get to go back till sunday but if i get on em i will let yall know. glad its gonna be a boy!

We went yesterday evening and fished the grass for about 2 hours and caught 15. There were a couple of old timers that fished the main lake drifting minnows in open water and showed us their stringer. It looked like about 20 and some were "big" fish.

Let me know how you do. We will be there in the morning! If you still wanna go, Tuesday will probably be a good day for me.

fished all day long. fished at sante fe from 7 till bout 10:30. got some lunch and fished at loochloosa from bout 12:30 till 2:00, didnt have any luck at all. went back to sante fe and fished from 4:00 till dark. i caught all of them trolling, except four which were caught in the pads jiggin. I used a secret color jig that flslabhunter put me on. just got them in that mail yesterday. you all will have to ask him for the secret jig, he might not give me any more tips if i go tellin everybody! here is some pics

the numbers were 22 specks and 1 nice bream ( you can see him on top of the stringer)

Steadfast adherence to your goals!!! Someone taught you that lesson well. Nice stringer. The bream looks to be a small monster. Did he pick up the jig as well?

yeah caught him right off the bottom trollin in bout 12 feet of water. here is a pic that really shows his size.
