Thread: Camping Near Tenoroc

Anybody got any info on tent camping near Tenoroc.

I don't think they allow camping at Tenoroc. There is a campground a few miles north on Old Combee Road. I know they allow RVs but I'm not sure about tents. I don't recall any other areas.

Stop and ask some of the people who live along Tenoroc road. You will probably find some that would welcome you for a few bucks a nite. People need $$$.. For those who may not know, Tenoroc, is Coronet mining Co. They just reversed the name when the State bought it.

Saddle Creek is approximately 4 miles from Tenoroc

Camping

You can fish there as well. Give them a call for availability. The closest bait and tackle store is right near their too.

After I get some turkey hunting in, I might take the wife and kids for a camping trip to Saddle Creek. I like the looks of the place, especially for the kids.

Be on your toes at Saddle Creek, especially at night. The Sheriff's Office works some interesting calls out there. Probably not as bad as it once was, but still.
