Thread: Jacksonville Area This Weekend

I could probably just mail the 10 bux in and save the time... but maybe you'll show me your fishing hole if I drive up there. Any place to park? I'm a go, if other things don't jump in the way. However, I don't know where to get any bait along the way to Julington from So Ponte Vedra. Maybe you do?

i know bait stores are hard to find around jax, so i'll make this offer...
if any members want to come out and have a little tourney and you cant make it to the bait shop i'll pick up the bait for you. i live on the westside not far from a bait shop that sells minnows. they open at 6:00am (unless they oversleep). so i could take orders for bait and you could just reimburse me at the ramp. I think they are $4 for 50 minnows.

Hey JMN, That is great and I'll certainly take you up on that offer when we finanlize some plan. I just gotta say here that although I'm retired, some of my friends are picking this spring to call it quits. Got one memorial service on the books, and looks like at least one more close behind, in addition to one wedding, one fund raising event, and the other normal busy retired existence. I'm going to try to make it.

Well that is three of us. That is a start. I am retired so it does not matter to me if it is a week day or weekend. The only weekend I can not do it is April 10Other then that I am free. Maybe we could get together in the very near future and come up with some dates.
How about Jboat and Swampfox, or anybody else in or out of the area. would you be interested in this.

I cant do easter weekend because i'll be out of town, but other than that i'm open. a week-day trip doesnt sound bad. it would definitely make it easier at the ramp because parking is limited.

I'll donate. Let me know when. I have off most weekends and every other monday but a tourney among friends is plenty of reason to take off.

why dont we have one on sante fe or loochlosa? creeks are harder to fish to me, especially if your not familiar with them. i dont know all the deep holes, shallow spots or anything, i bet if we had one on a lake alot more people would wanna fish, both of those lakes are not very far from jax. just my opinion but if yall have one at julington i would prob fish in it.

Sounds like a good time. During the week is best for me.

I've never fished a tournament but if my motor is out of the shop, I'd like to try it if my wife's feeling better. She's been having some health issues following spinal surgery.

Allright guys. Lets make it tough on ourselves. What do you think of the date of 03/31. That is a full moon date. Any thoughts or other dates you can come up with?
