Default Sunday fishing - Whats your plan?

Ok fishing has only been so so of late.

I am going to plan to go out Sunday after Church, and fish well, for at least 4 hours, maybe 6.

It looks to be light wind, air temp in the low 60s, and bright sun. Water temp is likely to be 55ish, with all this cold weather.

Should I hit the pads and bull rushes on Marion (Haines City) which has been producing decent numbers of large fish based on reports, or spider rig Kissimmee?

I enjoyed fishing in cover a week ago, but the size was just so so and the numbers werent tremendous. I want to limit out on some nice fish!

I been doing pretty good at Lochloosa the past several days, been doing good and coming home early. Kind of want to look at some diff water so I may go to Talquin b/c of the size diff of fish.

That's avg Talquin fish! That's the reason I like fishing there so much, reminds me of the lakes back home in Mississippi. Looking forward to heading back to Mississippi next week for spring break. Ready to get a livewell mixed of whte and black crappie

Hey duck, I've seen some photos of humongous white crappie on the main crappie.com home page, but then other folks are clammering to get down to Florida where there are humongous black crappie. What gives? I guess you get big ones and little ones of both varieties. But those footballs were something else. Does any of the shoreline at Talquin resemble the pads at Lochloosa? How would you plan to fish the spawn there? I want to go over there for a few days or a week next month, prolly the middle of the month if they have a cabin left.

    Ben

I liked that trolling of minners on Kissimmee so much, I wish I was down there to try it some more.

Caused the bigger fish to bite I feel.
