Let's do it, whatever it takes we NEED to get one done.
I'm getting hungry for some fried fish. Went with grandson yesterday and never had a 'wiggle', talked to a guy that had 15 caught 'at the edge of the grass. If the weather guessers are right the next week should be 'THE ONE'--shu

That's two boats...............can't beat those odds anywhere! Looking forward to it shu. With a smaller crowd I won't have any problem remembering names.

Trying to schedule this slabfest has been most painful for everyone - we've been traveling and cold, nasty weather has been a factor, plus I've been busy with renovations. Enough excuses - we won't be making it. That said, we did go to Lake Monroe for about 3 hours this morning (Monday). Weather was beautiful, lake smooth like glass and no fish, except one striped bass about 12 inches. At the Volusia ramp, the Fish and Wildlife was talking to all boats about their fishing experience. The officer said nobody was catching, not crappie, nor bass. There was a bunch of bass guys in the shallow reeds, etc. About the striped bass, he said they planted a lot of them in the lake a few months back and hope to grow that species. Anyway fished deep, fished shallow, nothing.
Good luck on Saturday - watch the weather

Shu and I talked about it today and we don't want to fire up the grease for just the two of us, so we're just going fishing.
