Just to affirm. The wife and I will be their next week, ready to fish and enjoy everyone's company.

Been gone and now back - kind of hard to follow the posts on this slabfest, but looks like March 6th - Trudy and I are going to take a pass on this one, but we'll be there next one. Gotta tell you though, it's warmer than Central Florida every where else - this weather stinks!

I just talked to centerdriver and he is out also.
It's going to be bad cold Sat. morning (38 with chill 35 @ 7:00 am).
Not getting much better as the day goes by. (42 with chill 42 @ 9:00 am).

This has just NOT been a good season. Guess we could maybe get in one good one before we leave, but, if not, at least we tried. Even though the one we had, no one wore shorts. Got to get better, no sense in making people sick just out to have a good time. A LOT of people going out over here on the Harris chain, when weather permits.....and they are catching loads of fish......but most are from 5-9". Just too small for me to put in the live well. Things will get better.

Can't do it that day. We have our big annual St. Paddy's day party for the park on the sat. before the actual day. I will be doing a lot of the cooking and entertaining. Normally, there is between 60-90 people attending with a Karaoke dj, contest, more food than one could imagine.
I have put in my order for a warm, clear day, hope yall catch a bunch. Chuck said he would drop off the plaques here, and I will bring them over about noon to Hickory Point.
