Thread: Istokpoga reports?

How has the action been on Istokpoga of late? I have not fished for specks there in quite some time but figured I would give it a go this coming Fri (2/26) as I have some guests in town. Any help would be appreciated.

Will be down there 3-10 so let me know how you do. I did talk to a guide yesterday and said it was slow but should pick up soon with some warmer weather. Water temp lower 60's.

I heard from a friend who has a friend who's been catches limits spider rigging for the last week or so on Istokpoga.

went two weekends ago caught 31, it took all day . they get ready to do some good and then it gets cold . I have a old timer that lives right on the north canal above Hendersons. He says there are a few in the weeds . But not in good numbers yet. we fished in the cove and up in the north west section. got a few at a time. I agree with duckbill I think that you can get better numbers out on the edge or in a hole. We were just talking today about fishing the open water with the weather the way it has been lately.Going Sunday
