    Default Florida Crappie Virgin

A friend of mine has a place on Lake Kerr east of Ocala. Hope to get to go for the first time next month. I've seen and heard all the stories and I'm really pumped at the chance to get to go. Can't wait to catch some "Flaawada slabs". The biggest I ever caught here in IN. was 11 1/2".

I hear they go to other lakes around there also.

I only fish The Coon cause that's where I keep my toon.

So I don't see you guys talkin' about Lake Kerr at all. How are the crappies in that lake? Looking at google it doesn't look over populated, so I'm guessin' it doesn't get too much pressure.

Chill, I've been on the Florida board for a year and don't recall Lake Kerr ever being menitoned. So... my guess is, you're right! It don't get much pressure. Good luck. Give us a report!

    EASY DOES IT.... CHILL............
Right now its snowingg in MOULTRIE GA that has'nt happened since I was 12 years old.
Dont look at the weather now. In March the average lows will be in the 50s and highs in the low 80s. so you can expect the slabs to be bedding in the shallow water. might pack your shorts just in case, some Yankees just love sunscreen too. These guys havent heard of this mud puddle called Kerr. Thats disturbing because these guys have been to every fishing hole imaginable................. give us more a accurate location of this Lake Kerr......PWW....
