Thread: Slabfest out of Hickory Point and Lake Monroe

Either the 5th or 12th of December at Hickory Point to start.

We have tried several locations and scouted out some that did not look inviting.
Currently we have fished and enjoyed fishing out of Hickory Point on the Harris chain of lakes and Lake Monroe using the facilities in Volusia County off from Highway 17 & 92.
Hickory Point will allow us to fish anywhere in the Harris chain and meet up at Hickory Point for the weigh in and fish fry and Lake Monroe will allow us to fish the St Johns river, Lake Monroe, Lake Jessup, and Lake Harney then meet up at Lake Monroe park for the weigh in and fish fry. We do not want to limit ourselves to one location so we will set up a rotating schedule around the Bass and Crappie tournaments.
We will start out December fishing the Harris Chain of Lakes and have the get-to-gather at Hickory Point.
The polls will give you the selection of one of two Saturdays.

I voted for the 12, cuz I won't get there till the 3rd. Other than that, everything is open.

I will have to miss this one as well as I am closing on a new house on Dec 7 but in January I am definately going to start in the rotation.

I'm votin the 12th cause I hope it'll give more time for the bite to improve (more cold fronts), plus I'll have truck fixed and me and Dusty have done our salt water trip.......
Is a long trip for me, plus, I didn't catch anything worth a flip last time, but, I "DID" find a nice little spot, but another feller was in there catchin em goodly....

We will keep you in mind when we do the final calculations, (your state of mind).
Can't move the votes once cast, we aren't like the OTHER November voting.

Ugh !
Been having real problems with computer.
Worked all day on getting trolling motor wiring fixed, still not done.
Truck still runs bad.
Getting somewhat depressed.....

Is there any way to revote? I would also...like Phantom...like to move my vote to the 5th...we are having are company christmas deal with meetings all day...im trying to help you out phantom!!
