    While we're waitin............
Had let my boat sit for about 2-months with half tank of gas, took it out awhile back, wouldn't run ,just idle, cough, then die.
Changed gas, still no go, put her in shop.
Mech said water in the vaporizer.
    Seems to run good now.......

Danny, I am looking at the same situation. I left my boat in Texas for 6 months now. It has about 10 gals in it but I put a good dose of Stabill in it. Just hope nothin is going to give me too much headache.

Not me. Just dinks. Left early, had an hour and half drive. Only three hours sleep. Rolled and tossed dreaming of those big slabs. Well, I didn't hurt them, they are still there. See you at the next one.

    I just can't believe it !
Grown men acting like school kids!
You know that the cookout doesn't require fish if there are no fish to be had.
Hamburgers work real well, how long does it take to run to the store, etc.
No pictures, no stories, man ! !
I guess us younger guys will have to come to the next one (Weekend) and lead ya'll around and help ya'll out ! ! !

Do we know why they weren't biting? Water still too hot? Lots of wind? Bluebird skys? Fishermen? Bait????????

    Default Here's the deal !

Here's the deal.................. water was between 73 / 74 degrees and windy, but plenty of places to get out of the wind. My brother-in-law, Don, and I bagged 9 keepers and 2 dinks the largest was 13 1/4", and we lost at least that many. Don caught a 3lb bass on a green (tipped) tube also. We fished 5 to 7' of water trolling at 1.2 mph. We used every color curly tails and tubes in the box mostly tipped. The clouds and bright sun alternated so often you couldn't stick with a certain color. The best bite seemed to be on tubes (blue/red/green) and when we were going into the wind. I think we got lucky in finding them because I think they've grouped up some and aren't scattered so much.

We had a great time fishing and the food was great also. We didn't actually have a weigh-in because we were the only boat to bag any out of four boats. I guess it was dissapointing to some from that perspective, but I've been there before too. I'm feel bad that everyone didn't load their buckets, but the gathering was very nice and there was even fish left over. To me it's all about the fellowship and that was great as usual !
