Wow...so Dora's was extremely crowded due to a craft show...so put in a Buzzard Beach and went through Dora Canal over to Dora and within my first hour had 6 speck...then after that it was out like a light switch not a single nibble...I must of just caught the end of breakfast or something because they wouldn't take anything!! hopefully the water will cool down some more and push these speck into some hard structure! come on fall weather...
There is a ramp on the canal in a little park right where the road that goes over the canal that I've been using. I fished Dora yesterday for about 1 1/2 hr and today for 1 1/2 hrs and did nothing. Water was 73 and probably higher after today. Hopefully it will cool down next week and fishing will start to rock. I'm in a 16' keywest if you run across me shout out!

will do man...im probably goin out again in the morning...might need to go earlier this time!
BIG Bass Tournament out of Wooten Park, Tavares Oct. 26 through Oct. 30.
Bassmaster Federation championship.
i dont know how there gonna have the tournament there?? the whole marina is under major construction...not supposed to be done til april 2010...its closed!
huh...well thats interesting...i wonder if that is a typo? because if you go by there they have the whole area fenced off and there is a big sign that say new sea plane marina and boat ramp expansion...will not be completed til close to our prespawn time!! stinks for me because that is the ramp i use!
They have about 30 or 40 BIG SKEETER boats with BIG MERCS and a bunch of Ford trucks all lined up behind the old court house. I think they are going to open the gates for their staff launch and stack them along the docks for the teams. I talked to a city worker several weeks ago and that was the plan. It's going to be a big deal and I plan to take it all in if I can. It's going to be quite a site if anyone hasn't seen the a big show like this. (ESPN etc.) I don't plan to be bobbing around the lake while that's going on.
We watched the boats leave out this morning and it was awsome. Quite a sight to see 55 boats bobbing in one area right off the docks with running lights on. They staged them and they were underway at 7:30 am. Perfect day the lake was like glass. Going to Lake Monroe tomorrow and try for some blue gills.
